Hacienda Children’s Hospital Selected by Sons of the American Legion

The Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.) has graciously chosen Hacienda Children’s Hospital in Mesa as their focus charity for the upcoming year. Arizona State Commander for S.A.L., Thomas W. Lucas II, announced the fundraising campaign at the annual convention for the American Legion and its auxiliaries. S.A.L. was first introduced to Hacienda Children’s Hospital by the 8 & 40 women’s auxiliary.

“The Sons of The American Legion was created in 1932 as an organization within The American Legion. The S.A.L. is made up of boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the United States military. The American Legion family place high importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nation’s children, caring for veterans and their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.”**

Thank you S.A.L. for choosing Hacienda Children’s Hospital for your annual campaign.
